What is III Points?

III Points Music, Art & Technology Festival, planted its flag in 2013 with our first festival featuring James Murphy, Jamie xx, and DJ Shadow. We set out to shed light on Miami based music acts, along with local thinkers, dreamers and doers reshaping our community.

III Points curates a line-up of cutting edge international performances paired with the best of the Miami’s music scene. Over the three days of the festival, III Points takes over the town with lectures, labs, tech talks, music & gallery showcases and a fully immersive main festival ground.

When is the festival?

The festival begins on Friday October 13th and ends on Sunday October 15th. It will take place rain or shine unless otherwise noted.

What time does it start and finish everyday?

Friday October 13th and Saturday October 14th, doors to the festival open at 6 p.m. and close at 5 a.m. Sunday October 15th, doors to the festival open at 5 p.m. and close at 2 a.m.

What are acceptable forms of ID?

Passport, Driver’s License, State ID Card, or Government Issued ID will be the only forms of identification that will be accepted to pick up tickets at will call or purchase alcohol.

Will there be food and drinks available at the festival?

Yes! There will be various vendors within the festival where you will be able to purchase food and drinks from.

Will ATM’s be available?

Yes, we will have multiple ATMs on site.

Can I bring in my medical prescription?

Yes, please bring it if necessary and keep it in the original prescription bottle.

Will you be posting set times in advance?

Can I take photos or videos at III Points?

No professional or videography will be allowed, but you may use your personal cellular device as you please.

What is considered a professional camera?

Any camera with a detachable lens will not be allowed at the festival.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes! The III Points app will be downloadable on all Apple and Android devices for your convenience. It will be updated for the festival as the time comes closer!

Where can I buy tickets?

Can I buy tickets at the festival?

This would strictly be due to availability if we do not sell out beforehand.

Can I re-enter the festival if I leave?

There is no re-entry to the festival, your ticket is only scannable once per day.

Do I have to pick up my own ticket at Will Call? Can my friend or family member it get it for me?

You can get a family member or friend to pick your ticket up for you as long as they have proof/validation of your consent and valid form of photo ID.

I’m coming from out of town and need a place to stay for III Points weekend. Where should I stay?

There are plenty of hotels in the Miami downtown area to stay in, but here are a few that we would suggest you look into in terms of price and proximity to the festival:

The Vagabond Hotel

7301 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33138

This hotel was designed by Robert Swartburg and came to life in 1953. It was first established as a motel and restaurant/lounge and was notorious for having guests such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr. frequent the spot. Presently, it has been restored but has maintained its retro Miami vibe. Rooms available include two full-size beds, one king-size bed, or bigger suites that are suitable for bigger groups. The Vagabond includes free high-speed wifi, self-parking, short-term baggage storage facilities, coffee and breakfast pastries, and access to their personal gym and free weight equipment. Located in the Upper East Side of Miami, it’s a 15 minute car ride from the festival.

Freehand Miami

The Freehand is a hostel that has “reinvented” the historic Indian Creek Hotel and has showcased the iconic 1930’s deco Miami feel. Located in the heart of Miami Beach, the The Freehand includes a restaurant downstairs with intelligently curated dishes and is home to the famous award winning bar, the Broken Shaker. Rooms that are available include suites with two full beds, one King size bed, or a bunk bed style “Quad” to house larger groups. Some amenities include complimentary wifi, access to their beautiful outdoor pool along with poolside food and drinks, daily housekeeping and guest laundry, and more.

aLoft Miami Brickell

aLoft is a modern, contemporary makes sure to stay on par with its interior design when it comes to style and physical innovations. This contemporary hotel is a 3-minute walk from the Brickell Metrorail station and a 4-minute walk from The Shops at Mary Brickell Village. Bright rooms with 9-ft ceilings offer free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and minifridges. Some rooms and all suites add balconies. Continental breakfast is complimentary, and there's a 24-hour snack station with free coffee and tea. Other amenities include an exercise room, an outdoor pool, a bar and a colorful lounge with a pool table.

Yve Hotel

The Yve Hotel is a “unique boutique” hotel located in prime downtown Miami. This sleek downtown hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Bayside Metromover Station and a 4-minute walk from the Bayside Marketplace. Modern rooms feature free WiFi, flat-screen TVs and desks; most have city or bay views. Suites add minifridges, dining areas and pull-out sofas. There's 24-hour room service. Amenities include a gastropub serving craft and seasonal beers, plus signature cocktails (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner), plus a fitness center. There is also paid parking available if requested.

Miami Sun

226 NE 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33132

Housed in a 1920s building with modern accents, this functional hotel is a 10-minute walk from Bayfront Park, a 5-minute walk from the Government Center metrorail station, and 6 miles from the Miami Seaquarium. Straightforward rooms feature en suite bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and cable TV, and minifridges and microwaves are available by request (surcharge). Amenities include a restaurant and guest laundry facilities.

How is parking? Can I drive to III Points?

Parking will not be provided by us and is limited, so we suggest using an alternate form of transportation.

What is the best way to get to the festival?

Take a ride-sharing app or use public transportation to avoid the hassle of trying to find a parking spot in Wynwood!

Prohibited Items:

Drugs or drug paraphernalia
Illegal or illicit substances of any kind

Pets (except for service animals)
No chairs or inflatable furniture of any kind (rafts, etc)
Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts, or personal motorized vehicles
Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc. Totems, flags, or banners
No professional audio, photo, or video equipment. No Go-Pro’s.
Drones and any other flying devices
Any and all camera accessories, such as selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, “go-pro” mounts and attachments, detachable lenses, or other commercial equipment are not allowed.
